Client : Canon ANZ

Production : Ellie Barnes

I’ve had the opportunity to work on two exciting creative campaigns with Canon Australia.

To celebrate Canon’s 50 Years of Oceania, a special competition was launched. I was one of three creators selected to help engage the community and bring the campaign to life. Our task was to produce a standout video inspired by the theme ‘50’—a creative example designed to inspire others in the Canon community to submit their own entries. For my interpretation, I centred the concept around my 50-year-old Canon FTB-3 film camera, telling its story through cinematic visuals and showcasing the journey it has taken over the years.

Following this project, Canon invited me to take part in their “See More” campaign—another creator-led initiative aimed at inspiring community involvement. This time, the focus was on promoting their new PowerShot V1 and the EOS R50 V cameras. Much like the 50 Years campaign, I was tasked with creating an original video entry but this time based on the theme "See More," to encourage others to get involved and explore their own creative perspectives.

Celebrating 50 Years of Canon Oceania

For me, storytelling through a camera has always been a passion—one that began when I was 14 and has only grown stronger since. Inspired by that journey, I chose to center my interpretation of ‘50’ around my 50-year-old Canon FTB-3 film camera, capturing its story and the places it’s travelled over the years.

“See More” – Promoting Canon’s Latest Cameras: PowerShot V1 & EOS R50 V

As part of Canon’s “See More” campaign, I was invited to create a video that encouraged community engagement and creative exploration. The campaign promoted Canon’s latest releases—the PowerShot V1 and the EOS R50 V—and focused on inspiring others to see more through their own lens. My interpretation of “See More” was about embracing the world around us—whether through moments with friends, travel, or adventure—and capturing those experiences to inspire connection and discovery.
